(0:22) Violently they grabbed his arms,
\nAs they tightly strapped each wrist,
\nWith a hellish look stood a strong armed soldier,
\nWhip clenched in his fist,
\nLaced with chips of bone they beat him hard,
\nFrom his shoulders to his feet,
\nAnd it sliced right through his olive skin,
\nJust like razors through a sheet,<\/p>\n
(0:47) Countless times the blood splattered,
\nAs each in-human lash was given,
\nSeveral times his knees gave way,
\nAs his flesh just hung like ribbons<\/p>\n
(1:00) And surprisingly he turned his head,

(1:18) Uncaringly they tossed a garment,

\nAll the splinters from the crisscrossed beam dug deep into his back
\nThrough lack of sleep and dehydration,
\nHis tongue began to swell,
\nAnd weakened by his loss of blood,

\nOn a man named Simons shoe,
\nAs he bent to wipe it off,
\nThe prophet looked and said
\n\u201cSimon this blood is for you\u201d,<\/p>\n
(2:14) This blood can save a soul,

\nHis body convulsed with pain

\nHe tilts his face towards heaven
\nWith full control of his mind
\nWith more love then any human heard
\nBefore that time or since
\nHe made a statement that to this day
\nMakes the strongest skeptic wince,
\nHe cried\u00a0 \u201cFather, God forgive them for they not what they do.\u201d
\nAnd as he gave his life for those lost in sin
\nHe was saying
\n\u201cThis blood is for you!\u201d<\/p>\n
