 21 Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. 22 But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation—

 

Week 3 (April 4): Colossians 3:2-3 (NIV)

Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died,and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.

 

Week 4 (April 11): Colossians 3:8 (NIV)

But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.

 

Week 5 (April 18): Colossians 3:12 (NIV)

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

 

Week 6 (April 25): Colossians 3:16 (NIV)

Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.

 

Week 7 (May 2): Colossians 3:24 (NIV)

since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

 

Week 8 (May 9): Colossians 4:2 (NIV)

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,

 

Week 2 (October 11): Philippians 4:6 (ESV)

do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

 

Week 3 (October 18): 1 John 1:9 (NIV)

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

 

Week 4 (October 25): Ephesians 6:1 (ESV)

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.

 

Week 5 (November 1): Luke 17:4 (ESV)

and if he sins against you seven times in the day, and turns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.”

 

Week 6 (November 8): 1 Chronicles 16:23 (NIV)

Sing to the Lord, all the earth;
    proclaim his salvation day after day.

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds,

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.

He drove out the man, and at the east of the garden of Eden he placed the cherubim and a flaming sword that turned every way to guard the way to the tree of life.

 

Week 3 (April 5): 1 Corinthians 15:3-4  (NIV)

For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,  that he was buried,that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,

 

 

 

Week 4 (April 12): Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV)

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
    and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
    and he will make your paths straight

 

Week 5 (April 19): Luke 3:22 (NIV)

and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.”

 

Week 6 (April 26): James 1:12 (NIV)

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

 

Week 7 (May 3): Luke 4:18-19 (NIV)

18 “The Spirit of the Lord is on me,
    because he has anointed me
    to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
    and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free,

Week 8 (May 10): Philippians 2:14-15a (ESV)

14 Do all things without grumbling or disputing, 15 that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation,

 

Week 9 (May 17): 1 Corinthians 15:1-2 (ESV)

Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.

Week 1 (September 14): Galatians 5:22-23 (ESV)

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

 

Week 2 (September 21) Love: 1 Corinthians 13:4-5 (NIV)

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 

 

Week 3 (September 28) Joy: Luke 15:7 (NIV)

I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

 

Week 4 (October 5) Peace: Ephesians 2:17-18 (NIV)

He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.

 

Week 5 (October 12) Patiance: James 5:7-8 (NIV)

Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near.

 

Week 6 (October 19) Kindness: Ephesians 4:32 (ESV)

Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

 

Week 7 (October 26) Righteousness/Goodness: Matthew 5:6 (ESV)

Blessed are those who hunger andthirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.

 

Week 8 (November 2) Faithfulness: Hebrews 11:6 (NIV)

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

 

Week 9 (November 9) Gentleness/Meekness/Humility: Colossians 3:13 (NIV)

Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

 

Week 10 (November 16) Self Control: Proverbs 25:28 (NIV)

Like a city whose walls are broken through
  is a person who lacks self-control.

 Week 1 (March 23): Matthew 6:9-13 (ESV)

Pray then like this:

“Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.

Your kingdom come,

your will be done,
    on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread, 


and forgive us our debts,

    as we also have forgiven our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation,

    but deliver us from evil.

Week 2 (March 30): Matthew 5:16 (ESV)

 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Week 3 (April 6): Matthew 5:23-24 (NLT)

So if you are presenting a sacrifice at the altar in the Temple and you suddenly remember that someone has something against you, leave your sacrifice there at the altar. Go and be reconciled to that person. Then come and offer your sacrifice to God.

Week 4 (April 13): Matthew 5:37 (ESV)

Let what you say be simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything more than this comes from evil.

Week 5 (April 20): Matthew 5:44 (NKJV)

But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,

But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
