On Wednesday, October 18th, Beta had an outreach at Lititz Area Mennonite School. They presented five mimes to the students and staff.

Conestoga View Retirement Home
On Sunday, October 15th, team Beta presented five mimes to the staff and residents of Conestoga View Retirement Home. Later the team gathered at the Sensenig’s house for a team social with delicious pizza provided by the Sensenigs. 🙂
Beta Announcements 9/12/17
Hi Beta! Hope you all are having a good week! 🙂 Before I forget, here are this week’s announcements:
-Both of the Bible study workshops we had scheduled and told you about in the session letter were cancelled. Another one is hopefully being planned and we will let you know when that will be. We can’t require you to come to it anymore since the date changed, but we strongly encourage you to come if at all possible! It is super helpful information since you all will be leading your own Bible studies this session.
-Don’t forget to fill out a release of liability form and have it notorized! You can find the form on the Drama website under the page ‘documents.’ (You’ll need your parents help with this). When you’ve completed it give it to Emily.
Delta Outreach at Willow Valley Retirement Home
On Monday evening, May 8, team Delta had our last outreach of the session at Willow Valley Retirement Home. When we all arrived we presented several songs for them and Hannah and Jesse Fellenbaum and Selena Gerlach had the opportunity to speak in between mimes, introducing DRAMA and explaining the mimes.
After our presentation the team really enjoyed hanging out with the residents and talking to them. It was fun to hear about their lives and exciting to have a few opportunities to pray for them. Amazingly, some of them even remembered when we had been there last fall!
After the outreach the team stopped at McDonald’s to discuss how it went, and take the time to thank God for another great outreach!
Delta Outreach at Christ the King
On April 23rd, team Delta had the opportunity to present at Christ the King Community Church during their Sunday morning service. We presented three mimes: Job, When Love Sees You, and Bells of Peace. Caleb Martin and Jaybin Aument took turns speaking and encouraging them to trust that God is in control despite what is happening around us, and to find peace and unity in Christ.
We were grateful to share the morning with CTK and have the opportunity to worship with them and encourage them in their walk with Christ.
Delta Outreach at CHEX Homeschool Co-op
On Monday, April 3rd, team Delta had the opportunity to present for CHEX homeschool co-op for the last day of their co-op’s semester! The team arrived a little bit before lunch to practice our mimes. Then we got to eat lunch with the kids and talk with them until we had to put on our mime face.
After putting on our paint we presented several mimes for them, explaining each song. All the kids watched intently and afterward asked a lot of questions, from why we wear mime paint and what it feels like to have it on our faces, to what our favorite animals are and what we like to do. 🙂 We had fun trying to answer them without talking, since we still had paint on.
Overall, it was a great outreach and a lot of fun interacting with the kids.

-The Martins are having a Christmas party at their house on December 9th around 6pm. Your whole family is invited. It will be a potluck dinner so bring something to add to the meal. Their new address is 325 Hawthorne Drive, Denver 17517.
-Our End of Session Party is this Tuesday, December 13th. It will start at 6, and will be at Faith E.C., our practice location. Make sure you bring the food you signed up for! Rachael will send out an email sometime to remind you all if you forget what you signed up for.

-The December 3rd outreach is cancelled.

-No practice next Tuesday, since it’s Thanksgiving week!
-The Colombia trip is coming up in February! Training is the 4th and the trip is from the 6th to the 15th. There is more details on the email you received about it. If you are interested in going, the deadline for applying is November 25.
-Our end of session party is Tuesday, December 13. The timing will probably be a little different then practice time. More info on that later.
-We have a possibility of an outreach on Saturday, December 3 from 12-2pm. Let Trent know by the end of the week whether or not it works for you.

For this Sunday, November 13:
-In the morning we have an outreach at West York Church of the Brethren (5101 Darlington Rd. York, Pa. 17408). Girls have your hair done since we are wearing paint. Wear your grey shirts, and black pants, socks, and shoes. Everyone is meeting at the Giant at 8am. Song List: Awesome God, Propitiation, Alive
-In the afternoon things changed again and we are hanging out at my house from about 12:30-5. My mom is providing lunch for us, but you’ll still need to bring a packed supper.
-In the evening is the Friends and Family Presentation at Mohn’s Hill E.C. Invite your friends and family to come hear about DRAMA and see us present. We will be presenting Propitiation. Members wear your grey shirts, and black pants, socks, and shoes. Everyone please bring one gallon of drink to the church’s kitchen when you arrive! Also, there was a change in timing. It will start at 6, not 7, so you’ll need to be there at 5:30. Make sure you let everyone you invited know about the change!
Not about this Sunday: 🙂
-Trent and Caleb are moving today (Thursday)Â after 5pm and tomorrow (Friday) after 3pm and would appreciate any help. Let Mrs. Martin know if you are planning on helping out because they are providing sandwiches.
-Next week for morale dress up representing one of the states!!!!
