March 27th 2011 at Bridgeville E.C. Church

The outreach on Sunday, March 27th at Bridgeville EC went great!  We
wore Face, but we had a hard time not talking. The bathrooms only had
one small mirror, so the girls had a challenge in putting it on and
taking it off. After performing Penalty, He’s Alive and
Glorious day for the congregation, we went with the kids downstairs
and performed Freedom, More and Two Sets.
We were invited to stay for lunch; and I got the opportunity to
talk to some people. One lady said she thought it was cool that we
were willing to go places we’d never been to before to perform. Before
we left, we had the opportunity to take some fun team pictures.

March 6th 2011 at Daniel Boone High School

During the Beta outreach on Sunday, March 6th, there were a lot of
up’s and down’s. A major down was that several of the members weren’t
feeling on top of things. After the presentation, one member got very
sick. But the up’s of it were very encouraging! The presentation went
very well, and afterwards, a lady came up to us and said “You guys had
me blubbering like an idiot!” she also said that she really wanted her
son to see us perform because she thought he could be inspired by us.
Praise God!

You Were There

Avalon

(0:34) I wonder how it must have felt
When David stood to face Goliath on a hill
I imagine that he shook with all his might
Until You took his hand, and held on tight

(1:03) ‘Cause You were there, You were there
In the midst of danger’s snare
You were there, You were there always
You were there when the hardest fight
Seemed so out of reach
Oh, You were there, You were always there
You were always there

(1:48) So there he stood upon that hill
Abraham with knife in hand was poised to kill
But God in all his sovereignty had bigger plans
And just in time, You brought a lamb

(2:17) ‘Cause You were there,
You were there
In the midst of the unclear
You were there, you were there always
You were there when obedience
Seemed to not make sense
You were there, You were always there
You were always there

(2:56) So haven’t I learned that my ways
Aren’t as high as Yours are
And You alone keep the universe
From crumbling into dust
You are God and though we would
Not have understood You
There You were

(3:23) Hanging blameless on a cross
You would rather die than leave us in the dark
Every moment, every planned coincidence
Just all makes sense
With Your last breath

(3:53) You were there, You were there
During history’s darkest hour
You were there, You were there always
You were the Victor and the King
You were the power in David’s swing
You were the calm in Abraham
You are the God who understands
You are the strength when we have none
You are the living, Holy one
You were, You are and You will always be
the Risen Lamb of God

(5:07) You were, You are and You will always be
You were, You are and You will always be
You were, You are and You will always be
You were, You are and You will always be
You were, You are and You will always be
The Risen Lamb of God

You were, You are and You will always be
The Risen Lamb of God

What Would You Do for a King

Clay Crosse

(0:21) What would you do for a king
If He won all the battles He went out to fight
And returned as a hero on a starlit night to a cheering crowd…
Would it make you proud?

(0:43) And what would you do for a king
If He kept every promise that He’d ever made
Would you get out the tickertape and lead a parade, a society ball…
Or would you care at all?

(1:05) Kings always seemed to me as such grand, imposing men
So full of stature, full of power
Such great authority in every word they say
I never thought I was quite the type
But I’d still love to meet one someday

(1:32) So what would you do for a king
If He came to your door, would you ask Him in
Would you tell Him how much you admired Him
Do you think you’d dare
Or would you be to scared?

(1:55) Most king’s don’t seem to know much about the common man
So far removed and set apart
I cheer with thousands, we blend into a roar
Another face in an endless crowd
Is that all I really am, just one more…

(2:21) So what would you do for a king
If He saw you fishing out by the sea
And He walked up to you and said “Follow me – It’s time you know”
Do you think you’d go?

(2:43) And what would you do for a king
If He took off his crown and agreed to die
And as you tried to understand it, He looked you in the eye and said,
“This is for you”
Well, what would you do?

Who Will Be Jesus

Bruce Carroll

(0:23) He came home from work last night, to find that she is gone,
Now He’s spending his first Sunday sitting in the pew alone,
There are whispers all around him, His heart breaks in two,
He’s wondering who will reach out and help him make it through,

(0:51) Who Will be Jesus to him?
Who’ll show the love that’s commanded in His word?
Will he see in us the mighty God we serve?,
Who will Be Jesus to him?

(1:32) She has a reputation like the woman at the well,
The only love she ever knew was the kind she buys and sells,
But her thirsty heart is searching for a love that will be true,
The Savior cries for her to see Himself in me and you,

(2:00) Who Will be Jesus to her?
Who’ll show the love that’s commanded in His word?
Will she see in us the mighty God we serve?,
Who will Be Jesus to her?

(2:31) Wounded People everywhere, and when they look at us, do they see Jesus there?

(2:47) Who Will be Jesus to Them?,
Who’ll show the love that restores Them again?,
Oh, They do not need a judge, They need a friend,
Who will Be Jesus to them?
Who will be Jesus to them?
Who will be Jesus to them?

What if I Give All

Ray Boltz

(0:11) He heard the preacher say
“A single dime could feed
A hungry boy or girl with
Nothing to eat”

(0:23) So he pulled a dollar from
From the pocket of his jeans
He asked his Mama
“How many will this feed?”
She just smiled when she told him ten
He reached back in again

(1:34) “What if I give all I have
What will that gift do?”
“My child a gift like that could change the world
Could feed a multitude!”
He didn’t close his eyes or turn away
I can see him standing tall
He saw the need and I can hear him say
“What if I give all?”

(1:34) Three birthday dollars could of bought a special toy
But he reminds of a another little boy
Who gave to Jesus a gift of fish and bread
I wonder if he said?

(1:57) “What if I give all I have
What will that gift do?”
“My child a gift like that could change the world
Could feed a multitude!”
He didn’t close his eyes or turn away
I can see him standing tall
He saw the need and I can hear him say
“What if I give all?”

(2:43) Long ago, a Father and His Son
Saw the children lost in sin
Can you see the tears in Father’s eyes
As Jesus says to him

(3:05) “What if I give all I have
What will that gift do?”
“My son that gift will change the world
It will feed the multitude”

(3:30) “So what if I give all I have
What will that gift do?
My child a gift like that could change the world
It could feed a multitude
We cannot close our eyes and turn away
When we hear his spirit call
We see the need, now let him hear us say
“What if I give all?
What if I give all?”

Watch the Lamb

Ray Boltz

(0:01) Walking On the Road To Jerusalem,
The time had come to sacrifice, Again.
My two small sons, They walked beside me down the road,
The reason that they came, Was to watch the lamb.

(0:31) “Daddy daddy, What will we see there?
There’s so much that we don’t understand,”
So I told them of Moses, And Father Abraham,
And then I said dear children, “Watch the lamb.
There will be so many, In Jerusalem today,
We must be sure the lamb Doesn’t run away,”
And I told them of Moses, And Father Abraham,
And I said “Dear children, Watch the lamb.”

(1:36) When we reached the city, I knew something must be wrong,
There were no joyful worshippers No joyful worship songs.
I stood there, With my children, In the midst of angry men,
Then I heard the crowd cry out, “Crucify Him!”

(2:14) We tried to leave the city, But we could not get away.
Forced to play in this drama, A part I did not wish to play,
Why upon this day were men condemned to die?
Why were we all standing here, When soon they would pass by?

(2:47) I looked and said, “Even now they come,”
The first one cried for mercy, The people gave him none.
The second one was violent, He was arrogant and loud,
I can still hear his angry voice, Screaming at the crowd.

(3:20) Then someone said, “There’s Jesus,”
I scarce believed my eyes,
A man so badly beaten, He barely looked alive.
Blood poured from His body, From the thorns on His brow,
Running down the cross, And falling to the ground.
I watched as He struggled, I watched Him as He fell,
The cross came down upon His back,
And the crowd began to yell.

(4:08) In that moment I felt such agony, In that moment I felt such loss,
Till the roman soldier grabbed my arm and screamed,
“YOU! Carry his cross!”
At first I tried to resist him,
But his hand reached for his sword,
So I knelt and I took The cross from the Lord.
I put it on my shoulders And started down the street
The blood that He’d been shedding,
Was running down my cheek.
They led us to Golgatha
They drove nails, Deep in His feet and hands.
And on the cross, I heard him pray,
“Father, forgive them…”

(5:28) Never have I seen such love In any other eyes
“Into thy hands I commit my spirit,”
He prayed, And then He died.
I stood for what seemed like years, I lost all sense of time,
Until I felt two tiny hands Holding tight to mine.
My children stood there weeping,
And I heard the oldest say “Father please forgive us,
The lamb, Ran away.

(6:32) Daddy daddy, What’ve we seen here,
There’s so much that we don’t understand,”
So I took them in my arms, We turned and faced the cross.
And I said, “Dear children Watch the lamb.”

Via Dolorosa

Sandi Patti

(0:30) Down the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem that day
The soldiers tried to clear the narrow street
But the crowd pressed in to see
The Man condemned to die on Calvary

(0:57) He was bleeding from a beating, there were stripes upon His back
And He wore a crown of thorns upon His head
And He bore with every step
The scorn of those who cried out for His death

(1:23) Down the Via Dolorosa called the way of suffering
Like a lamb came the Messiah, Christ the King,
But He chose to walk that road out of
His love for you and me.
Down the Via Dolorosa, all the way to Calvary.

(3:04) The blood that would cleanse the souls of all men
Made its way to the heart of  Jerusalem.

(3:22) Down the Via Dolorosa called the way of suffering
Like a lamb came the Messiah, Christ the King
But He chose to walk that road out of His love for you and me
Down the Via Dolorosa, all the way to Calvary.

Two Sets of Jones

Big Tent Revival

(0:08) This here’s a song about two sets of Jones’
Rothchild, Evelyn, Reuben, and Sue
And just for discussion through random selection
We’ve chosen two couples who haven’t a clue

(0:31) Rothchild was lucky to marry so wealthy,
Evelyn bought him a house on the beach.
Reuben and Sue, they had nothing but Jesus
And at night they would pray that he would care for them each

Chorus:
(0:53) And the rain, came down,
And it blew the four walls down
And the clouds they rolled away
And one set of Jones’, was standing that day

(1:21) Evelyn’s daddy was proud of young Rothchild,
He worked the late hours to be number one
Just newly weds and their marriage got rocky,
He’s flying to Dallas, she’s having a son.

(1:43) Reuben was holding, a Gideon’s Bible,
And he screamed “it’s a boy” so that everyone heard
And the guys at the factory took a collection,
And again God provided for bills he incurred

(2:06) (Chorus)

(2:30) So what is the point of this story,
What am I trying to say
Well is your life built on the rock of Christ Jesus
Or a sandy foundation you’ve managed to lay

(2:49) Well needless to say Evelyn left her husband
N’ sued him for every penny he had
But I truly wish that those two would find Jesus
Before things get worse than they already have

(3:12) And the rain, came down,
And it blew the four walls down
And the clouds they rolled away

(3:54) There’s two sets of Jones’
Which ones will you be?

(4:08) li de di, li de di, li de di, li de di
li de di, li de di, li de di, li de di
li de di. li de di, li de di, li de di di di di

This Blood

Carman

(0:22) Violently they grabbed his arms,
As they tightly strapped each wrist,
With a hellish look stood a strong armed soldier,
Whip clenched in his fist,
Laced with chips of bone they beat him hard,
From his shoulders to his feet,
And it sliced right through his olive skin,
Just like razors through a sheet,

(0:47) Countless times the blood splattered,
As each in-human lash was given,
Several times his knees gave way,
As his flesh just hung like ribbons

(1:00) And surprisingly he turned his head,
Though the words he used were few,
The soldiers face turned pale,
When he said “This blood is for you”,

(1:18) Uncaringly they tossed a garment,
Across his weakened form,
And his blood pressure fell deathly low,
As the crowds began to swarm,
They forced him to carry his cross up-hill,
As his face they punched and smacked
All the splinters from the crisscrossed beam dug deep into his back
Through lack of sleep and dehydration,
His tongue began to swell,
And weakened by his loss of blood,
This prophet-teacher fell,

(1:55) When he did some blood splattered
On a man named Simons shoe,
As he bent to wipe it off,
The prophet looked and said
“Simon this blood is for you”,

(2:14) This blood can save a soul,
Heal the sick, mend a heart,
This blood can give you access,
To the very throne of God,
And it still can go the distance,
Through the pain to where you are,
This blood is for you,
The blood of the lamb,

(2:44) Then they pounded a spike,
Through the bones in his wrists,
Bursting arteries, and veins
And as they dropped the cross in the hole they dug
His body convulsed with pain
Through an agony and torment
That never a soul shall find
He tilts his face towards heaven
With full control of his mind
With more love then any human heard
Before that time or since
He made a statement that to this day
Makes the strongest skeptic wince,
He cried  “Father, God forgive them for they not what they do.”
And as he gave his life for those lost in sin
He was saying
“This blood is for you!”

(3:40) This blood can save the soul,
Heal the sick, mend the heart,
This blood can give you access,
To the very throne of God,
And it still can go the distance,
From the pain to where you are,
This blood is for you,
(If you’re lost and alone, and your mind is confused)
This blood is for you,
(If you feel like you have been hurt and abused)
This blood is for you,
The Atoning cleansing blood of the Lamb

(4:25) This blood can save the soul,
Heal the sick, mend the heart,
This blood can give you access,
To the very throne of God,
And it still can go the distance,
From the pain to where you are,
This blood is for you,
The blood of the lamb,

(5:00) This Blood is for you,
The Blood of the Lamb.
