Beta Announcements 4/17/18

 

Upcoming Outreach

• Saturday, April 21^st: *Optional* Workday at Carlos & Migdalia’s. We are meeting at Lancaster Giant at 6:30am, and will be back at 9:00pm. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty! Lunch and supper are provided, but please eat breakfast before you come.

 

The DRAMA Banquet is next week!

• Setup will be Tuesday afternoon (the 24^th), from about 12:30pm to 4:00pm. Please let Alisha know if you can come and help.
• The Banquet is on Wednesday, April 25^th, at the Ephrata Business Center (400 W. Main St, Ephrata, PA 17533). Members, please arrive at 5:30pm. Wear red t-shirts and black everything else. (You can dress up and then change into presentation clothes if you like)

 

Potential Outreaches: Please check these dates and let Alisha know if they do or do not work for you.

• Friday, May 4^th: Evening.
• Sunday, May 20^th: 10:00am-3:00pm.

Alisha: Healing for Bethany’s cold, and patience for her and Michael during it, since Bethany isn’t sleeping well

Kayla: Going to brother’s school with her grandma for grandparent’s day but her grandma isn’t feeling well

Jesse: Praise! Visiting Cedarville went well; Praise! Choir concert’s went well; Pray for cold; driving down to visit Connor and bring him back for their cousin’s wedding

Michael: Has a cold

Sarah: Praise! Recovered from cold; uncle is really sick with a high fever

Emily S: Dad is really sick; Had an exchange student visit on Wednesday to see if they are going to stay with the Sensenig’s next year; prayer for her permit test; Praise! No glaucoma; prayer as she plans her party

Na: injured ankle again, that it’ll heal by our outreach; Praise! Feed My Starving Children went well; Peace in family stress

Alyssa: Her brother Andrew cut his forehead

Brittany: for her school, and she is doing cyber school again next year; work starting soon; for a good attitude at home; stomach has been bothering her

Scott: Busy schedule

Emily W: Busy week with work and stuff, for energy

Selena: Busy schedule, that she would worry and stress less

Upcoming Outreaches

• Tuesday, April 17^th @ Real Life teen ministry. Meet at practice at 3:45 pm. We will be carpooling to the outreach and will be back by 9:00 pm. Supper is provided.  We will be using paint, so girls have your hair in the twist or at least pulled back.  Wear your black t-shirts and black everything else.

Sarah: Has a cold; Hannah tore a muscle in her hip

Michael: Has had a cold for three weeks

Maria: Praise! Their dog had puppies; Praise! Her schoolwork is going well

Jesse: Going to visit Cedarville (his current #1 college) on Thursday; Choir concerts next Tuesday

Alyssa: Praise! Dad is recovering well; Praise! Finished potatoes and cleaning up storage

Brittany: That she would listen to her mom and that her mom would have strength to figure out her school; Praise! Parent’s got home safe; Older brother found an apartment and is moving out

Kayla: Has an interview at Cherry Crest on Thursday; Praise! Got a good grade for her biology test

Na: Her family isn’t feeling that great and they’re heading up Feed My Starving Children, that it would all come together and they would have enough volunteers; Youth group is going to Mexico this summer, that their fundraising auction would go well and that they would have a safe trip

Emily S: For peace as she waits for glaucoma test results

Scott: Going to open house at Stevens on Saturday

• Sunday, April 8^th @ Conestoga View Nursing Home (900 E. King St, Lancaster) 1:00-3:00 pm. We are invited to the Sensenig’s house (809 E. Orange St, Lancaster) to hang out until 4:30 pm. Wear jeans and gray DRAMA shirts. Songlist: Hallelujah, Healing Begins, Via, Alive, Be Kind to Yourself

Banquet Testimonies and RSVPs are due TODAY!

Alyssa: Praise! her dad’s hip surgery went well. Prayer that he would continue to heal quickly and not hurt himself. Praise! done with potatoes.

Deanna: Praise! First day of work went well.

Jesse and Sarah: Praise! Connor and Hannah are coming home for the weekend.

Michael: Prayer for stressful work.

Scotty: Prayer/praise work has been busy, and prayer for tests.

Kayla: Parents are going on trip Thursday-Sunday, that they would have safe travels.

Brittany: Not to be stressed out with taking care of niece. Good attitude toward people at work.

Olivia: Test in history, that she would study and remember information.

Emily S: Going to dermatologist tomorrow (Wednesday). Thursday eye doctor appointment test, praise! pretty sure no glycoma. Prayer for drivers permit test coming up.

Alisha: Not to stress out about drama banquet, to have a good attitude.

Sarah: Praise/prayer that she’s helping with Sprouts.

Naomi: That the Easter dance she is in at her church would go well. Praise! Gets to see her cousins again.

Selena: Praise! her team had a fun time at the basketball tournament. Praise! Finished paper on time despite being away last week. Prayer as she’s considering some online college classes. Prayer as she is job shadowing on Friday.

Next Outreach:

• Sunday, April 8^th @ Conestoga View Nursing Home (900 E. King St, Lancaster) 1:00 pm-3:00 pm. Everyone is invited to hang out at the Sensenigs’ afterwards. More details to come.

Banquet Testimonies are due on Wednesday, April 4^th! Also, you each need to RSVP! Go on the DRAMA website, or email banquet@dramateam.org.

Next Week at Practice:

• It’s Twin Tuesday! Find someone to be your twin and come to practice dressed alike. 🙂
• Bring donations for Children’s Vision!

 

Beta Announcements 3/20/18

Bible Study Workshop: The second workshop was rescheduled for next week.

• Wednesday, March 28th @ Ebenezer EC Church (235 State St, Brownstown, PA 17508)   9:00 am-1:00 pm.  Bring your Bible, a notebook, and a packed lunch.

 

Next Outreach

• Sunday, March 25th @ Timberline Church (30 Timber Lane, Strasburg, PA 17579).  We will meet at the church at 8:15 am and be finished by 12:00 pm.  Wear black pants, socks, and shoes, and red DRAMA shirts.  Songlist: Via, Alive   Workshop: Sin Chair  (We put this together at practice on Tuesday… If we have time to practice it Sunday morning, everyone who wasn’t at practice can jump in. It is a super easy song!)

 

Banquet Testimonies are due on Wednesday, April 4^th!  Your parents received the papers explaining this at the parent meetings.  If you can’t find them, or if you still have questions, email Alisha. (alisha.ma.austin@gmail.com)

Here are our prayer requests from practice!

Scott: Busy schedule.

Brittany: Healing, as there is sickness going around in their family. -Cherry Crest is opening in May. For Kayla as she goes for an interview this week.

Sarah: To heal from her cold.

Michael: Heal from cold, especially as it makes work harder.

Deanna: Starts work on Friday.

Naomi: Feed My Starving Children event is in three weeks. Prayer that the money would be provided and for the Wenger family as it can be stressful preparing for it.

Everyone: Outreach on Sunday! 🙂
